Tragic Incident: Man Kills Paralyzed Wife

Faisalabad: Inside the confines of Gulberg police limits, a man took the life of his wife, who had been paralyzed for a considerable period in Faisalabad.

According to a police report on Wednesday, Muneer Ahmad of Muhammadpura, Tariq Road, was in distress due to the prolonged ailment of his wife, Muniba Begum, who had stayed paralyzed for some time. He attacked her with an instrument with sharp edges and severed off her life on the spot before running away.

The police moved the corpse to a mortuary to conduct an autopsy, after which they filed a case based on a statement made by the late woman’s son, Shahzad Ahmad.
