Tragic Incident: Lightning Kills Youngster In Haripur

Haripur: A tragic incident occurred in Haripur where a 25-year-old youth Raja Waqqas, son of the late Muhammad Aslam, was killed by lightning on Monday.

Upon receiving the report, local residents, along with teams from Rescue 1122 and the police, immediately rushed to the scene. The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident while the community mourns the loss of the young life.

Meanwhile the rain that lashed different parts of Haripur from Monday morning continued intermittently till evening causing heavy flooding in the rainwater courses.
