Chitral: A tourist spot Garam Chashma (Hot Spring) known as ‘Tongshogor’ of Bhisti Valley, founded by the local tourists in lower Chitral, is a charming place to promote tourism.

This eye-catching place is located at an altitude of 16000 feet above sea level, where there is greenery and wildflowers everywhere. Very cold and clean water comes out of the foothills of the mountains, while this water flows in a circle like a snake, so this meandering canal adds to the beauty of the area.

The mountains are covered with snow which presents a very attractive look and Tirich Mir Mountain looks like a small mound from here. The nearby mountains are home to emeralds as well as other valuable stones and minerals. The sound of the adjacent waterfalls, which have pure, chilly water, is similar to the sound of trumpets played naturally.

Here in this field, there are medicinal plants like onion that grow naturally and also taste like onion, while this onion-like herb was used as medicine in the past.

According to a report, due to the route’s difficulty and low oxygen content, both media teams and tourists are having a lot of trouble.

A media person claimed that no one had visited this picturesque tourist location before our team for media coverage and that it was still undiscovered. When our crew arrived, the locals greeted them enthusiastically and warmly.

According to the local people, ‘Tongshogor’ was also the summer pasture of the people of Bhisti Valley, where the local people used to bring their cattle for grazing. As it was their summer pasture, they collected milk and made cheese, butter, curd and milk items from it.

In the past, there used to be wildlife at this popular tourist destination and locals could make a significant amount of money by lawfully searching for hunting trophies with foreigners.

In this beautiful place, local people celebrate a picnic and also put on Bhangra and perform folk dance today, told media personnel.

The locals insist that the tourism department take notice of this location and plan a competition or other traditional sporting event here in order to draw tourists and help this lovely area grow through tourism promotion.
