Today’s Weather Forecast: Which Areas Will See Rain?

Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has announced the good news of expected rainfall in various regions of the country today (Monday).
However, on May 28, the weather is predicted to remain very hot in most of the country’s plains.
According to the Meteorological Department, from today until June 1, some areas in the upper regions of the country will experience wind, hail, and rain, which may help alleviate the heat wave.
Rainfall is expected in various parts of Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Today and tomorrow, there is a possibility of wind and rain in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, and Badin.
On Monday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 52 degrees Celsius in Mohenjo Daro and Nawabshah. Other high temperatures included 51 degrees Celsius in Dadu and Jacobabad, and 50 degrees Celsius in Sukkur, Khairpur, Larkana, Sibi, Bhakkar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Skarund. Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanpur, and Padaidan recorded 49 degrees Celsius, while Hyderabad reached 48 degrees Celsius. Lahore, Jhelum, and Bannu recorded 45 degrees Celsius, Peshawar 44, Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 42, Karachi 38, Gilgit 37, and Quetta recorded a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius.
