Three member honey trap gang arrested in Burewala

Burewala:Acting on the directives of District Police Officer Vehari Tasawur Iqbal, Model Town Police Burewala 

raided and arrested a three-member honey trap gang.

According to police, SHO Model Town Mehtab Alam, along with his team, apprehended two women—

identified as Majeeda and her daughter Ayesha—and the alleged gang leader, Ali Abbas. 

The arrests were made in connection with a case registered at Model Town Police Station on 

the complaint of Ahmad Ali.

The police officials stated that the accused Ayesha allegedly contacted the complainant through 

phone calls and later threatened to implicate him in a false case to extort money.

Investigations revealed that the gang belongs to Iqbalwala Bangla, Tehsil Chichawatni. The 

ringleader, Ali Abbas, is a record holder involved in several serious cases. The gang reportedly targeted 

citizens by trapping them through fake friendships and later blackmailing them for extortion.
