Three Brothers Arrested in Honour Killing Case

Muzaffargarh: Chobara police in Layyah district claimed to have arrested three brothers for their alleged involvement in an honour killing incident last month that left a man dead and two others injured.

According to police sources, the suspects Amir, Zeeshan, and Adnan reportedly forced their way into the home of Muhammad Iqbal in Chak 125-ML, Chobara.

During the attack, they fatally shot Iqbal and injured his wife, Sonia Bibi, and her brother, Faizaan.

The suspects, who are relatives of Sonia Bibi, were reportedly unhappy with her marriage to the victim.

The police apprehended the suspects following an investigation and are pursuing legal proceedings against them.

Further inquiries are underway.
