Task Force Demolishes Site Offices of Illegal Housing Society

Rawalpindi: The Task Force, established to enforce strict legal measures against unlawful housing schemes, has dismantled site offices and other facilities belonging to Ruden Enclave.

According to a spokesperson from the RDA, the Task Force was conducting operations against illegal housing schemes in accordance with directives from the Divisional Intelligence Committee.

During a recent operation targeting the Ruden Enclave scheme in Mouza Budhial, Rawalpindi, the Task Force demolished site offices and other infrastructure.

The operation was overseen by Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Muhammad Abdul Aamir Khattak, Director General (DG) of RDA Kinza Murtaza, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi, and the City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi.

The DG RDA stated that operations against all illegal societies would continue as instructed by the Commissioner, with no exceptions. Strict measures would be taken against those who violate regulations, he emphasized.

She urged citizens to refrain from investing in illegal housing schemes and to check the status of such schemes on the RDA website www.rda.gop.pk.

Prior notices had been issued to the owners and sponsors of Ruden Enclave to cease illegal advertisements, plot bookings, and development activities. Despite warnings, owners were found operating booking offices for the illegal scheme, breaching regulations.

A joint operation team, consisting of RDA officials, Saddar Beroni police station personnel, and representatives from the District Administration, carried out the operation.

Participating in the operation were Director MP&TE RDA Jamshaid Aftab, Deputy Director PHATA, Assistant Director Building Control RDA, Assistant Director Planning RDA, RDA Scheme/Building Inspectors, among others.
