The upcoming film also signals actor Fahad Mustafa’s return to the big screen. ‘Aag Lagay Basti Mein’ is Mustafa’s first production venture, with the actor starring alongside Mahira Khan. The project has generated considerable buzz due to its high-profile cast and Hashmi’s transition from television hosting to acting.

Speaking at a recent appearance, Hashmi responded lightheartedly to a question about whether he felt nervous about his acting debut. He joked that since Fahad Mustafa had invested in the film, the producer had more reason to be anxious. “I have simply done my job with what I was given,” he quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.

Fans are particularly eager to see Hashmi take on a negative role for the first time, adding another layer of curiosity to one of the most anticipated local film releases.
