Swat Valley Sees Massive Tourist Influx During Eid

Peshawar: The scenic Swat Valley witnessed a significant surge in tourists during Eid-ul-Fitr, prompting authorities to enhance facilitation measures for visitors.
A spokesperson for the Upper Swat Development Authority reported that over 50,000 tourists flocked to the region in the first two days of Eid, creating a festive atmosphere at major attractions.
To ensure a smooth experience for travelers, tourism police were deployed across various destinations, providing assistance, while traffic police remained on duty round-the-clock to manage vehicle flow efficiently.
For the convenience of visitors, special facilitation centers were set up in Madyan and Bab-e-Swat. Popular tourist spots, including Kalam, Mahodand, Bahrain, Miandam, Malam Jabba, and Gabin Jabba, remained packed with tourists, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the valley.
