Islamabad: Pooja Bhatnagar, the mother of the late Suhani Bhatnagar, said that every parent takes pride in being recognized by their child’s name, and their identity is intricately linked to Suhani.

With a heavy heart and tear-filled eyes, Pooja Bhatnagar conveyed how people would often identify them as the parents of the Dangal girl, bringing recognition wherever they went.

Pooja emphasized that while every parent loves their child, Suhani’s accomplishments have brought them immense pride and recognition.

According to details, Pooja Bhatnagar, the mother of the late Suhani Bhatnagar, who gained fame through the blockbuster Bollywood film Dangal, has passed away, leaving behind a grieving family.

Suhani, who tragically left us at the age of 19, was affectionately known as the “Dangal girl.”

In an interview with Indian media, Pooja Bhatnagar revealed that Suhani shared a close bond with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who remained in contact with her.

Pooja shared that Aamir Khan had extended an invitation to Suhani and the family for his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding in January, but they couldn’t attend due to Suhani’s illness.

Reflecting on Suhani’s life and untimely death, Pooja expressed pride in her daughter’s achievements, stating, “We are proud of her.”
