London: Star Wars fans have been given an exciting teaser about the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu, as actor Jeremy Allen White hinted at a significant on-screen partnership in the new movie.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, White — who plays Rotta the Huttlet — revealed that his character will spend much of the film alongside the Mandalorian. “It’s kind of like him and the Mandalorian running around for a lot of the movie together,” he said, adding with a laugh, “Rotta can move, yeah, quickly.”
The comment has sparked speculation among fans, as Rotta, the infant son of Jabba the Hutt, was first introduced in The Clone Wars (2008). The upcoming film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, is set to hit theatres on May 22, 2026.
In separate Star Wars news, actress Mia Goth, who will appear in Star Wars: Starfighter, shared a glimpse into her experience working on the project.
“It’s really intense, but I love it. I’m being pushed in a way I’ve never been pushed before,” Goth told Elle magazine. She confirmed that Starfighter will be “a completely separate film, not a prequel,” featuring “new characters” and “a really great script.”
Both films are part of Lucasfilm’s expanded Star Wars universe, marking the franchise’s return to cinemas after several years of focusing on television projects.
