SP Potohar Conducts Open Court

Rawalpindi: Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Nasir Nawaz, conducted an ‘Open Court’ on Thursday at the Police Lines Headquarters to address public grievances.
As part of Punjab’s open-door policy, police officers are organizing ‘Open Courts’ to provide assistance to citizens.
A police spokesperson stated that during the ‘Open Court,’ the SP directed relevant officers to take necessary actions and submit reports on the complaints received from the citizens. Emphasizing the significance of such forums, the SP mentioned that ‘Open Courts’ aim to offer immediate relief to citizens, address their concerns, and enhance policing standards.
During the session, the SP instructed officers to conduct inquiries promptly and submit reports within the specified timeframe. He highlighted ongoing efforts to ensure the swift and fair dispensation of justice based on merit, aiming to elevate service delivery standards for the benefit of the public.
