SP Pari Gul Updates Checkpoint Guidelines

Islamabad: Superintendent of Police (SP) Pari Gul Tareen visited several checkpoints in Islamabad’s Swan Zone on Sunday, where she issued key security guidelines to officers and personnel stationed at these locations.
SP Pari Gul emphasized the importance of efficient operations, directing officers to avoid blocking roads during vehicle inspections to maintain smooth traffic flow. She also instructed personnel to designate specific areas for vehicle checks, ensuring minimal disruption.
In her efforts to foster a respectful approach, SP Pari Gul advised that families in vehicles should be handled with extra care, calling for lady police officers to assist in inspections involving families. “It is crucial that citizens do not feel intimidated during checks,” she said.
She further instructed officers to request motorcyclists to remove helmets for thorough inspections and stressed that all citizens should be treated with courtesy. “Every citizen must be treated with the utmost respect,” she stated.
Additionally, SP Pari Gul urged the public to cooperate with the police, noting that these measures are designed to enhance the safety of Islamabad’s residents and visitors.
