Islamabad: The ICT Police arrested Musadiq Abbasi on Tuesday following swift action by the Koral police team after receiving a complaint from his mother, who accused him of misbehavior and issuing threats.

According to an official police statement, the accused was taken into custody and a case was registered against him. Further investigation is currently underway.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Ali Raza directed all police stations to take immediate legal action on complaints from parents regarding disobedience or mistreatment by their children.

DIG Raza expressed regret over such incidents, stressing that disrespect or harm towards parents, who hold a place of high respect in society, is unacceptable. He urged police stations to prioritize these complaints and act swiftly.

The DIG further instructed all Station House Officers (SHOs) to resolve citizens’ complaints within specified timeframes.

He emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains the top priority of the police, with equal rights for all citizens requiring prompt attention to their issues.
