Islamabad: The upper reaches of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including the Neelum Valley, continue to experience snowfall for the second consecutive day.
Areas such as Grace, Shunthar, Sargan, and Jagran Valley have received 5 to 8 inches of snow, while the mountains have accumulated more than a foot of snow. As a result, the Sharda-Keel Taubat Road has been closed again due to the snowfall.
However, the main Neelum-Sharda highway has been cleared and restored for traffic movement.
Meanwhile, cloudy and cold weather is expected in several districts of Balochistan, including Quetta Valley.
The Meteorological Department has also forecast light rain and snowfall in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and northwestern Balochistan.
In Karachi, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius today.
