Six Killed, Several Injured as Bus Overturns Near Kallar Kahar

Islamabad: At least six people lost their lives and several others were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Dhok Sayal, a village close to Kallar Kahar in Chakwal district, Punjab, on Sunday morning.

According to police and rescue officials, the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence and excessive speed, which caused the vehicle to lose control and overturn.

Rescue teams reached the scene promptly, recovering the bodies of the deceased and shifting the injured to DHQ Kallar Kahar Hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that the crash claimed six lives on the spot, while investigations are underway to determine the exact cause and assess if any additional factors contributed to the incident.
