Six Killed, Dozens Injured as Tourist Bus Overturns in Thatta

Islamabad: At least six people lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when a bus carrying tourists to Keenjhar Lake overturned near the Thatta Bypass early Sunday morning.
According to rescue officials, the bus was en route from Karachi’s Orangi Town and was transporting a group of tourists for a recreational trip when it overturned after taking a sharp turn, plunging into a roadside ditch.
Local authorities and emergency teams reached the site shortly after the incident and launched a rescue operation. The injured passengers, many of whom are reported to be in critical condition, were shifted to hospitals in Karachi.
Efforts are underway to identify and inform the families of the victims. Authorities have pledged full support for those affected by the tragic accident.
