Six Held in Citizen’s Killing at Private Event

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi police arrested three additional suspects involved in the killing of a citizen at a private housing society, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to six.

According to a police spokesperson, Gujar Khan police apprehended Faisal, Mukhtar, and Kamran for their alleged involvement in the murder of Abdul Rehman during a private housing society event. Earlier, three other suspects, identified as Irfan alias Bhola, Nasir, and Talha, had also been taken into custody.

City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani took immediate notice of the incident and directed swift action to arrest all those responsible.

The suspects were captured through a combined operation utilizing technical surveillance and human intelligence, said the police spokesperson.

Superintendent of Police (Saddar), Muhammad Nabil Khokhar, stated that the suspects would be prosecuted with solid evidence. “Criminals who endanger the lives of citizens will not escape the clutches of the law,” he assured.
