Singer Louis Signs Marriage Certificate While Giving Autographs

Islamabad: Louis Tomlinson, former member of the renowned British music band ‘One Direction’, inadvertently signed a marriage certificate while autographing a fan.
It’s worth noting that the group originally comprised Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, but has since disbanded, with each member pursuing individual musical careers.
As reported by the Daily Guardian, Louis Tomlinson, a former bandmate and globally acclaimed singer, is currently engrossed in his music concert in Indonesia as part of his world tour.
During a concert in Jakarta, a throng of fans assembled to catch a glimpse of the singer. Louis graciously greeted his fans, with some eagerly presenting T-shirts and notebooks for autographs. The singer delighted his fans by obliging them with signatures.
Amidst the frenzy, a female fan extended an official marriage certificate to the Hollywood singer, which Louis inadvertently signed.
Unbeknownst to him, the document was a marriage certificate from the Republic of Indonesia, featuring a picture of Louis and the woman with their signatures in the middle.
Subsequently, the fan shared the news of her ‘engagement’ to Louis Tomlinson on TikTok, expressing her excitement at returning from the concert as a married woman, despite being single prior to the event.
According to local reports, Indonesian law only recognizes marriages that have undergone a formal ceremony. Therefore, the marriage certificate signed by Louis Tomlinson holds no legal validity.
