Sindh’s Rural Women Artisans To Display Their Handicraft Skills For Karachiites

Sukkur: Sindh’s rural women artisans will share their handicraft skills and creativity with Karachiites.
The Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO), in collaboration with various partners and sponsors, is hosting the 14th Certun Song Crafts Exhibition at Ocean Mall, Karachi, from Friday. The exhibition will continue to December 3.According to SRSO spokesperson Jamil Ahmed, this exhibition aims to showcase a diverse array of traditional arts and crafts in Karachi.
The vibrant and enchanting products featured at the event are meticulously crafted by numerous rural women artisans hailing from various districts of Sindh. These districts include Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Tharparkar, Badin, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur, and others.
Visitors can expect a rich assortment of Sindh’s handicrafts, comprising home textiles intricately designed with patchwork, cutwork, and embroidery. The exhibition will also display basketry, jewellery, dresses, dupattas, and shawls adorned with traditional embroidery and cutwork.
Additionally, there will be an exclusive collection of traditional clothing crafted from Khaddar, organic dye, self-printed cotton fabric, and more, all skillfully embroidered by the talented rural women artisans of Sindh province. Additional input from APP.
