Sindh on High Alert Amid Rising Pakistan-India Tensions

Karachi/Hyderabad: In light of escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, the Sindh government has ramped up both security and emergency medical preparedness across the province.
Security Measures
Inspector General of Sindh Police, Ghulam Nabi Memon, has directed law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert. Patrols are being intensified in markets, urban centers, and sensitive areas including government and private installations. The public has been reassured that Sindh Police is fully prepared to counter any internal threats.
Healthcare Preparedness
Simultaneously, the Director General of Health Services has declared a state of emergency in all government hospitals across Sindh. Medical staff leaves have been canceled, and hospitals are required to operate around the clock with full emergency readiness, including sufficient medical supplies and coordination with relevant agencies.
Both departments have emphasized zero tolerance for negligence, underscoring the seriousness of the current regional situation.
