Sindh Announces Schedule, Venues for National Games 2025

Karachi: The Sindh Sports Department has officially announced the schedule and venues for the National Games 2025, set to take place in Karachi from May 1 to May 9. This marks the return of Pakistan’s biggest sporting event to the city after 18 years.
Sindh’s Minister for Sports, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, revealed that the event will feature competitions in 34 sports across 21 venues, with participation from over 10,000 athletes nationwide.
Officials confirmed that the opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, with invitations extended to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The National Games 2025 are expected to play a key role in revitalizing Pakistan’s sports scene, particularly in Karachi, by providing a platform for athletes to showcase their talent on a national stage.
