Shehbaz, Naqvi Vow Justice for Panjgur Attack Victims

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday condemned the attack on workers at a dam site in the Paroom area of Panjgur district, which led to the tragic deaths of five individuals.
In a statement from the PM Office, the prime minister emphasized the need to apprehend the attackers and hold them accountable.
“The attackers targeting dam workers are enemies of Pakistan and Balochistan’s development. There is no place for such miscreants in Pakistan. Such cowardly acts cannot deter the government’s resolve to uplift Balochistan,” he stated.
The prime minister prayed for the departed souls, requested swift recovery for the injured, and instructed authorities to provide the best medical care to those affected.
Interior Naqvi Condemns Panjgur Attack
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also expressed strong condemnation of the attack on a construction camp in Panjgur.
Offering his condolences to the bereaved families, Naqvi conveyed deep sorrow and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
He stressed that those who target innocent lives will face justice, assuring that such perpetrators will be dealt with firmly.
Naqvi on Orakzai Polio Team Attack
In a separate incident on Tuesday, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the terrorist attack on a polio team in Orakzai, which resulted in the martyrdom of two police officers.
Naqvi commended the bravery of the martyred personnel, who, while escorting the polio team, confronted and neutralized three terrorists, foiling their plans.
Describing the fallen officers as national heroes, Naqvi emphasized that an attack on polio workers is an attack on Pakistan’s future.
He praised the courage of the Frontier Corps and police for their swift response and expressed the nation’s gratitude for their sacrifice.
Three Terrorists Killed in Orakzai Attack
In the Dabori Badan area of Upper Orakzai, terrorists attacked an anti-polio team under police escort on Tuesday. During the assault, police constable Sayyed Hameed was martyred, and another officer, Muzammil, was injured.
Responding promptly, Frontier Corps personnel neutralized three terrorists and captured one in injured condition. A search operation is underway following the incident.
Shafqat Condemns Violence
Senior politician Syed Shafqat Ali Shah Advocate condemned the attack in Panjgur and expressed grief over the loss of lives.
He also extended his condolences over recent attacks in Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu that targeted security personnel.
Shah paid tribute to the martyrs, lauding their bravery, and prayed for their families, affirming that the nation honors its heroes who sacrificed their lives in defense of peace and security.
