Islamabad: Persistent foggy conditions on Tuesday led to the closure of several sections of the motorway in Punjab.

A spokesperson for the motorway police announced that segments of M-3, spanning from Lahore to Hiran Minar, and M-2, stretching from Islamabad to Pindi Bhattian, have been temporarily closed.

This precautionary measure aims to safeguard the well-being and secure travel for motorists.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of prioritizing daytime travel during the foggy season and urged road users to adhere to safety precautions, as reported by private news channels.
