Senator Rubina Vows BISP Support For Pakistan’s Minorities

Islamabad: Senator Rubina Khalid has reiterated the program’s unwavering commitment to serving the most vulnerable populations in Pakistan, regardless of religion, caste, or background.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Pakistan People’s Party Minority Wing, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid emphasized that BISP operates under a scientific and transparent mechanism for registering beneficiaries, as per the special directives of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Senator Khalid assured that BISP’s policies and procedures are designed to ensure equal access to benefits for all eligible individuals, with no discrimination of any kind.

Earlier in the meeting, the delegation expressed concerns regarding challenges faced by their community members during the registration process. Senator Khalid promptly addressed these issues, directing relevant staff to prioritize and resolve them.

Rubina also expressed BISP’s readiness to collaborate with minority communities to bridge any gaps and improve their socio-economic status by providing all possible support.
