Security Delegation of New Zealand Cricket Reached Pakistan

Islamabad: A two-member security delegation from New Zealand Cricket has reached in Pakistan, comprising Heath Mills of the New Zealand Players Association and independent security expert Rig Dickson.

During the initial phase, the delegation will assess the security arrangements in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. They will visit the team hotel and Pindi Stadium, where they will receive a comprehensive briefing.

In the subsequent phase, the delegation will evaluate the security measures in Lahore. Their itinerary includes visits to the team hotel and stadium in Lahore.

The New Zealand team is slated to visit Pakistan for a five-match T20I series in April.

According to the proposed schedule, the New Zealand squad will land in Pakistan on April 14. The first T20 match is scheduled for April 18, with the tour concluding on April 28.

It’s been suggested that three matches will take place in Rawalpindi during the first phase, followed by two matches in Lahore in the second phase.
