Section 144 Imposed in Punjab for 3 Days

Lahore: The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in the province from November 23 to 25 to ensure security and maintain law and order.

The decision follows a recommendation by the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order in its 18th meeting on Thursday.

Under the order, all political gatherings, protests, sit-ins, and similar activities are prohibited due to concerns over potential risks, including the threat of terrorist attacks.

The Punjab Home Department has issued an official notification emphasizing the need to safeguard public safety and protect lives and property during this period.
