Sea Silently Swallows Souls

Islamabad: Titan, a small submarine that made a route to the Titanic wreckage in the Atlantic Sea, has imploded, and all inmates on board are confirmed dead, including British Pakistani father and son duo Shahzada Dawood and Suleman Dawood.
The wreckage of the Titanic is over two miles below the sea and a submarine named Titan from Ocean Gate Expeditions has made frequent visits to the wreckage site and back.
The trip is of seven hours duration and a seat costs 250,000 US dollars. Billionaires booked their seats on the vessel to see the ill-fated shipwreck that sank in April 1912. The sea swallows secrets and souls together and nothing comes out as the same goes for the Titanic wreckage that was discovered in 1985.
The world focused its attention as the submarine vanished from the scene after two hours last Sunday, June 18. Many governments got involved and the whole world anticipated a miracle to happen.
The Greece Boat Tragedy happened on June 14. It was visible and in distress, but serious questions are raised about the Greek authorities, who have been accused of letting it happen.
Hundreds have died in the overloaded boat carrying people who, in their quest for a better tomorrow, were made to drown, as per reports.
Greece is reportedly the route for illegal immigrants who, faced with hardships, sell all their belongings to human smugglers who ditch them on the borders, where they are faced with a predicament of either digging in or facing death.
Pakistan is faced with a dilemma as, with very little breathing space for the youth, the untapped human resource resorts to activities to channelize their energies.
The slogan Pakistan Zindabad, meaning long live Pakistan, is replaced with Pakistan Say Zinda Bhag, meaning running out of Pakistan alive.
It is a fact that the world looks out for the billionaires who paid 250,000 US Dollars a seat for seeing the wreckage sight, while in the case of Greece, people sold all their possessions to board the boat for 8000 US Dollars.
They are all swallowed by the sea silently, and this scribe prays for the departed souls and that their families bear this irreparable loss with equanimity. Ameen.
