SDAIA Awarded ISO 42001 for AI

Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has been awarded the ISO certificate for implementing standards related to artificial intelligence (AI) management systems, in accordance with the international specification “ISO 42001” for the year 2024. 

This prestigious certification recognizes SDAIA’s adoption of best practices and standards in several key areas, including planning, resource management, operations governance, risk and opportunity management, analysis of AI-related impacts, balancing innovation and governance, integration with data management and information technology legislation, and ongoing evaluation and improvement of the AI management system.
