Scholarships Galore: TED University Invites Pak Students for Fall 2024 Semester

Islamabad: About 5000 students are currently enrolled at TED University, where the faculty to student ratio stands at 24:1, ensuring ample individual attention for students.
The university emphasizes collaboration between students and faculty, offering opportunities for joint projects, academic studies, and scientific research.
Can Öney, Chief of International Programs Office at TED University, shared these insights during a webinar hosted by Devcom-Pakistan.
He highlighted the support provided by the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Innovation, which has facilitated student participation in various research endeavors. To date, students have engaged in 84 research projects, including 44 nationally funded, 23 internationally funded, and 100 industry projects.
TED University, based in Ankara, has extended substantial scholarships for quality education across 23 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs to Pakistani students enrolling for the Fall 2024 semester.
International program officials at TED University announced that new enrollees from Pakistan will be eligible for scholarships ranging from 25 to 100 percent, based on their academic achievements and other credentials.
Additionally, Pakistani students are exempt from GRE and English language proficiency tests.
Can Öney said that TED is one of the top universities in Ankara with highly educated professional faculty members that are available to the students in the time of their need. The university houses many facilities to support students’ education, health and recreation free of cost.
Haares Munir, Head of International Student Community at TED University, expressed the welcoming atmosphere for students, praising the competence and friendliness of faculty members.
He emphasized the availability of the TED International Office round the clock to address students’ concerns and highlighted the comprehensive facilities provided by the university, including health, sports, recreation, and discounted or free meals.
Munir underscored the ample opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, including participation in outdoor educational and recreational trips. He advised that learning the Turkish language, even at a basic level, facilitates communication with locals and daily issue resolution.
Devcom-Pakistan Executive Director Munir Ahmed emphasized the historical ties and shared cultural values between Turkey and Pakistan. He advocated for closer interaction and collaboration between the two nations across various fields to enhance trade and cultural relations, emphasizing the importance of student exchange programs in fostering mutual understanding.
Levent Ocal, Head of International Programs Office at TED University, expressed gratitude to Pakistani mothers for entrusting their children’s education to Turkey, highlighting Turkey’s warm welcome and sense of brotherhood towards Pakistanis.
