Dust, Rain-Thunderstorm Forecasted For Sindh

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts scattered dust-thunderstorms or rain with a few moderate to isolated heavy falls and hailstorms in most parts of Sindh provinceover the next 24 hours.
Moderate rain to isolated heavy falls/hailstorms is likely to occur in Dadu,Jamshoro, QambarShahdadkot, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, NaushahroFeroz, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Sanghar districts till May 2 with occasional gaps.
Meanwhile, dust/thunderstorm and rain of moderate intensity with isolated heavy falls are also expected in T.M. Khan, T.A. Yar, Hyderabad, and Mityari, MirpurKhas, Umerkot, Tharparker, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal districts, and Karachi division till May 1 with occasional gaps.
The possible impacts may include heavy falls which may generate water logging in low-lying areas of Qambar Shahdadkot, Larkana, Dadu, Jamshoro,Sanghar, Matiari, Badin, T.M. Khan, Thatta and Sujawal districts. Strong winds may cause damage to loose and vulnerable structures as well.
