Saudi Ministry of Health Delivers Comprehensive Care to Hajj Pilgrims

Islamabad: During the Hajj season of 1445 H, the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Saudi Arabia diligently provided comprehensive healthcare services to over 77,000 pilgrims across a span of five weeks.

According to a statistical report by SPA, these services, spanning from the first day of Dhu al-Qidah to the sixth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, included medical and specialized clinics, pharmacy services, dialysis centers, intensive care units, and isolation facilities.

The report highlighted significant medical procedures undertaken, inc#luding 16 open heart surgeries, 200 cardiac catheterizations, and 584 dialysis surgeries.

Additionally, 1,745 pilgrims sought medical attention at hospitals and healthcare centers during this period.

Emphasizing the commitment of the Kingdom’s healthcare system to ensuring the well-being of pilgrims, the MoH underscored the dedication of its medical and administrative personnel, as well as the extensive network of healthcare facilities in Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites.

Their collective efforts aimed to guarantee the safety and comfort of pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.
