Saudi Citizen Held for Feeding 500 Riyal Note to Camel as Eid

Islamabad: A Saudi Arabia citizen was arrested for feeding a camel with 500 Riyal note as Eid.
According to foreign media, the video of the citizen feeding the camel a 500 Riyal note was shared on social media, in which he wrote that I have given Eid to the camel.
Later this video went viral on social media after which the Saudi citizen was arrested.
Remember that destroying the national currency in Saudi Arabia is a punishable offense and carries a fine.
According to Saudi law, a currency note is an official document that is punishable by 3 to 5 years in prison and a fine of 3,000 to 10,000 riyals for destroying, defacing or tearing it.
