Samar Jafri Reveals Bollywood Dreams Aspirations

Islamabad: Young Pakistani actor and musician Samar Jafri, known for his performances in Mayi Ri, Hum Dono and Parwarish, recently opened up about his dream projects during an appearance on Golootlo’s interview series Naam Faizan, hosted by Faizan.

Jafri, who gained widespread appreciation for his role as Fakihir in Mayi Ri and was recently praised for his music in Parwarish, said he envisions making his Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt.

“I would love to do a film like Student of the Year because I’m currently very fond of Karan Johar’s genre of college-based romantic films,” he shared. He also expressed admiration for Indian cricket star Virat Kohli, calling him his “forever favourite.”

On the music front, Jafri revealed his dream collaborations, naming Pakistani band Kaavish and Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh. “I would love to create a pure Punjabi song with Diljit Dosanjh and a slow romantic number with Kaavish,” he said.
