SALT Celebrates Christian Athletes on Minority Day

Rawalpindi: Social Awareness and Leadership Training (SALT) hosted a special Minority Day event at the Christian Study Centre in Rawalpindi, celebrating the achievements of Christian athletes from across Pakistan. 

The event honored athletes from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Jaranwala, Lahore, Muzaffargarh, and Sharaqpur Sharif, who have excelled in various sports including snooker, football, cricket, hockey, karate, bodybuilding, rugby, kabaddi, bowling, wushu, handball, tchoukball, futsal, and volleyball.

These athletes have earned recognition on both national and international levels, making significant contributions to Pakistan’s sports community.

The event was attended by Dr Mirza Ali Mahsud, Senior Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, who presented medallions and cash prizes to the athletes in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

SALT expressed its gratitude to the board members, athletes, distinguished guests, and everyone who participated in the event, highlighting the pride these athletes have brought to Pakistan.
