Salman Khan’s Auto-Tuned Song Faces Criticism

News Desk

Islamabad: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has released a new single titled ‘Ur Mine,’ which he not only performed but also co-wrote.

Despite its heavy use of auto-tune, the song has faced criticism even from some of Khan’s most ardent supporters for its lack of creativity.

The song was unveiled on Salman Khan’s YouTube channel on Thursday, featuring a music video where Khan appears alongside his nephew Ayan Agnihotri, who delivers the rap portion of the track. The composition is credited to Vishal Mishra.

‘Ur Mine’ is a romantic track, with lyrics co-written by Salman Khan and Sanjeev Chaturvedi. In the music video, directed by Hyder Khan, Salman is seen painting when Ayan interrupts him, asking if he can rap “Mere Maam’s” new song with Vishal. Salman playfully responds, giving him the green light.
