London: Meghan Markle is reportedly troubled by King Charles III’s recent decision to bestow an honorary title upon Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, fueling speculation about the monarch’s influence over her career trajectory.

According to Woman’s Day, the Duchess of Sussex believes the British royal family is working behind the scenes to undermine her professional ventures. Concerns emerged after Sarandos was awarded the Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for his contributions to the UK entertainment industry—a move Markle reportedly perceives as a strategic effort to jeopardize her projects.

Royal Family Dismisses Allegations

A palace insider has dismissed these speculations, stating that King Charles and Queen Camilla are indifferent to Markle’s endeavors.

“The protective instincts of every royal have been in overdrive over the past year, leading to reduced tolerance for the Meghan situation,” the source said. “But she is mistaken if she thinks King Charles is behind any effort to axe her show. He and Queen Camilla are entirely indifferent.”

Career Challenges and Growing Isolation

Reports suggest Markle is feeling increasingly isolated as she and Prince Harry have begun pursuing separate professional ventures. This alleged separation has left her feeling “abandoned” while navigating career challenges independently.

Adding to the tension is Prince William’s apparent growing association with former US President Donald Trump. Markle, who has had a strained relationship with Trump due to his past comments about her, reportedly sees this development as a cause for concern.

“The thought of Kate and William socializing with their president is unsettling for Meghan and Harry, particularly given Trump’s vocal stance against her,” a source told Woman’s Day.

Reassessing Past Decisions

The report further suggests that Markle is beginning to reflect on past conflicts, realizing that severing ties with influential figures may have long-term consequences.

“She’s starting to realize that burning bridges on the way up may not have been the best strategy,” the source added.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have issued any official statements in response to these claims.
