Speaking on Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the team’s resilience and ability to learn from past errors. He highlighted the hard work of players, coaches, and PCB officials, emphasizing that the victory was a morale booster for fans across the nation.

 “The team’s magnificent comeback and hard-fought triumph have brought joy to millions of Pakistanis,” he said, expressing optimism for their performance in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
