Revised School Timings Announced in Punjab

Islamabad: Schools across Punjab will reopen on January 13 following winter holidays, with the Department of Special Education introducing revised timings to address the ongoing cold wave.

Special education institutions, closed since December 20, will resume classes with adjusted hours. From Monday to Thursday and Saturday, schools will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while on Fridays, they will close earlier at 12:00 PM.

To help students cope with the chilly weather, the department has relaxed uniform requirements for special education institutions. This measure, effective from January 13 to February 15, allows students to dress warmly during the cold spell.

Public and private schools across the province will also reopen on January 13 as planned, with no further extensions to the winter break announced by the provincial government.
