Prompt Action Saved Dog’s Life

Peshawar: The prompt action of the medical staff of Rescue 1122 allowed them to save a dog after it was struck by a speeding vehicle near the Islamia Town Agricultural University.

Following a timely response to a call from the control room, the team went to the scene and gave the injured canine first aid.

District Emergency Officer (DEO) Naveed Akhtar said that the Rescue 1122 team swiftly responded to the emergency after receiving information from the control centre.

The medical staff treated the dog’s wounds immediately, halting the bleeding and treating them with medication. They then applied a bandage to the injured leg and provided the dog with food and milk.

Naveed Akhtar urged drivers to use greater caution on the road and stressed the significance of being compassionate towards animals.

DEO Akhtar stated, “It is our moral duty to be kind towards animals. We should drive defensively and pay attention to the wildlife that travels on our roadways.”

The quick response and compassion of the Rescue 1122 teams towards the hurt dog serve as a reminder of the value of being nice to all living things, no matter how large or small. It is a credit to the Rescue 1122 team’s dedication to their job and their enthusiasm for assisting those in need that they were able to intervene and successfully save the life of the injured canine.
