The speakers underscored how religious leaders can utilize sermons, workshops, and community events to educate members about the risks of addiction, its profound impact on individuals and families, and the available resources for prevention and treatment.

Through these platforms, they aim to foster open conversations and provide support, thus contributing to a more informed and compassionate community. This proactive approach helps reduce stigma and encourages individuals affected by addiction to seek assistance.

The initiative taken by the HCF in collaboration with Dr Samiullah Zubairi, a prominent scholar, was groundbreaking.

In Pakistan, religious scholars play a vital role in addressing the issue of drug addiction within communities. Their influence and authority extend far and wide, making them pivotal figures in shaping societal norms and values.
