RDA Action Against Unapproved Housing Advertisements

Rawalpindi: The RDA, under the direction of Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, has taken action against companies for promoting unapproved and illegal housing advertisements like Ruden Enclave, New Metro City, Faisal Town Phase II, and Blue World City.

The RDA spokesperson mentioned that notices have been issued to seven marketing companies—Reliable Group of Marketing Pvt Ltd, AA Marketing, Lead Marketing, Estate Hives Marketing Pvt Ltd, AK Marketing Pvt Ltd, Win Win Marketing, and Lions Gate Marketing Pvt Ltd—for advertising these unauthorized housing schemes.

They emphasized that without obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the RDA, a project cannot be considered approved or legal. The companies were misleading citizens by advertising these schemes as legal despite lacking the necessary approvals.

The DG has instructed strict action against such marketing companies to prevent the advertising of illegal housing schemes. The companies have been directed to halt their illegal marketing campaigns immediately.

Additionally, citizens have been advised not to invest in such unauthorized housing schemes and to verify the status of any project before investing, either through the RDA website or by directly contacting the MP&TE Directorate of the RDA.
