RCCI Hosts Women’s SMEs Exhibition in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organized a one-day Women’s SMEs Exhibition to provide women entrepreneurs and business owners with a platform to showcase their products, promote their brands, and gain market access.
Women entrepreneurs set up over 25 stalls representing diverse sectors, including clothing and fashion, home décor, beauty salons, skincare, jewelry, gems, boutiques, herbal products, and handicrafts. The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors who showed keen interest in the wide range of high-quality products displayed.
Speaking on the occasion, RCCI President Usman Shaukat said that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the economy, adding that the exhibition was designed to give women engaged in home-based businesses greater exposure and branding opportunities.
Chairperson Naila Tasadduq highlighted that the event not only served as a platform for showcasing products but also created valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and business growth among women entrepreneurs.
Prominent guests included Abida Malik, President of the Behbud Association; Member of the National Assembly Huma Akhtar Chughtai; and Ambassador of the Philippines to Pakistan Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, along with his spouse.
Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, former RCCI presidents, women members, and entrepreneurs also attended. The dignitaries visited various stalls and praised the creativity and quality of the products exhibited.
