RCCI Delegation Meets Jordanian Ambassador to Strengthen Trade Ties

Islamabad: A delegation from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), led by its President Usman Shaukat, met with Dr Maen Khreasat, the Ambassador of Jordan to Pakistan, during a visit to the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Islamabad.
The delegation, which included RCCI Vice President Fahad Barlas and Executive Committee member Falak Anjum, discussed a range of opportunities to enhance bilateral trade and economic relations between Jordan and Pakistan.
The meeting focused on promoting trade and investment between the two countries, exploring potential cooperation in various sectors, and fostering stronger chamber-to-chamber connectivity.Both sides expressed a commitment to organizing trade delegations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
Ambassador Khreasat emphasized Jordan’s desire to strengthen its historical and friendly ties with Pakistan by expanding trade relations.
He noted that Jordan is eager to enhance cooperation across a variety of sectors, including tourism, agriculture, hospitality, and health services, to the mutual benefit of both nations.
RCCI President Usman Shaukat reiterated the Chamber’s dedication to facilitating joint ventures, promoting bilateral trade, and identifying investment opportunities.
He also highlighted RCCI’s readiness to assist in organizing business forums, trade missions, and cultural exchange programs to further deepen the partnership between Jordan and Pakistan.
Shaukat reaffirmed RCCI’s commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to the mutual growth and development of both countries, ensuring a prosperous and enduring economic relationship.
