Rawalpindi’s Iconic Liaqat Bagh’s Restoration Work Kicks Off

Rawalpindi:  The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has commenced renovation and maintenance work at Liaqat Bagh, focusing on enhancing pedestrian paths, improving lighting, and beautifying the park with flowering plants and upgraded sitting arrangements.

Director General PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, emphasized that the project aims to preserve the historical and cultural significance of Liaqat Bagh, which attracts hundreds of daily visitors. Winter flower plantations have also begun to add vibrant colors to the park during the cold season.

Ranjha highlighted Liaqat Bagh as a symbol of Rawalpindi’s heritage, playing a central role in the city’s political and cultural life.

He assured the public that the PHA is dedicated to maintaining the park’s facilities and ensuring a high standard of upkeep to enhance the experience for all visitors
