Rawalpindi Citizens Get Direct Access to CPO

Rawalpindi: The citizens of Rawalpindi now have access to a convenient text-to-CPO service, enabling them to directly communicate with City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani.
This initiative was launched by CPO Hamdani to enhance citizen convenience and improve service delivery.
Through this service, citizens can send direct messages to the CPO at 0300-4911720. Over the past six months, a total of 1560 complaints have been received through this channel.
The police department has diligently addressed more than 99 percent of these complaints. Specifically, 103 cases were formally registered, while 14 complaints are currently under investigation.
The platform allows citizens to report various issues, including abuse of civic authority, corruption or bribery, police misconduct, inadequate investigations, delays in filing FIRs, or any other grievances related to police affairs.
Each complaint will be dealt with on its merits, aligning with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Inspector General of Police Punjab. The police department remains committed to providing the best possible service to the citizens.
