Rawalpindi Board Cracks Down on Cheating in SSC Exams

Rawalpindi: A strict zero-tolerance policy is being implemented during the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations to eradicate the menace of cheating mafias and encourage students to rely on their cognitive abilities.

This was stated by Chairman of the Rawalpindi Education Board, Muhammad Adnan Khan, following his visit to various examination centers in Tala Gang, Chakwal, and Bhagwal as part of the Matriculation First Annual 2025 examinations.

He emphasized that under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, no negligence would be tolerated in the effort to eliminate cheating.

“Actions against cheating mafias are being taken in a transparent and systematic manner, and a crackdown has already been launched,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Controller of Examinations, Tanveer Asghar Awan, also inspected examination centers in Kamra, Bahtar, and Attock. He reviewed the seating arrangements, lighting conditions, and attendance of invigilators to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

Issuing instructions to the examination staff, he stressed the importance of their role.

“You must perform your duty with dedication and integrity. It is your responsibility to provide the best possible facilities to the candidates appearing for the exams,” he said.

He further assured that all examination centers were under strict monitoring to uphold fairness and transparency.
