Islamabad: The district administration announced that the spillways of Rawal Dam will be opened on August 25 at 6:00 am. Citizens are strongly urged to avoid visiting urban river channels during this period.

Residents in low-lying areas are advised to take precautionary measures to ensure their safety, including relocating livestock to higher ground. In the event of an emergency, residents can contact emergency services at 16 or 1122.

The district administration is closely monitoring the situation at rivers and bridges and has finalized preparations for potential flood scenarios.
