Rare Leopard Allegedly Poisoned in Landi Kotal

Peshawar: A rare leopard of an endangered species was poisoned to death in Landi Kotal’s  Shulman Valley in Khyber district for attacking a herd of goats.

According to the KP Wildlife Department, the leopard’s body had indications that suggested it may have been poisoned. It was discovered that two leopard cubs unexpectedly perished earlier this year in the Tirah Valley of the district.

The Wildlife Department has taken leopard’s body into custody and stated that those responsible for the leopard’s demise would be held accountable. APP
