Islamabad: Popular Pakistani digital creator Rajab Butt, known for his massive social media following with 1.1 million Instagram followers and 4.25 million YouTube subscribers, is facing criticism after a flashy display of wealth during his wedding festivities in Lahore.
Butt, who began his career acting in the drama Rani alongside Kinza Hashmi, recently tied the knot with Emaan in a beautiful family event in December 2023.
The wedding celebrations kicked off with a grand Dholki and musical show, organized by Rajab and his friends, where large amounts of money were tossed around at the bride, groom, and guests. The extravagant show of wealth has sparked severe backlash from the public, with many fans expressing disapproval.
In light of Pakistan’s ongoing economic challenges, including widespread poverty, many social media users have criticized the lavish display, arguing that such acts are inappropriate given the country’s financial instability.
